Matthew got a camera for christmas and has been busy snapping photographs. It is interesting what a 9 (almost 10 according to him) year old boy finds interesting. He also took video (with his camera) of our most recent pet, a spider, found on Emily's brand new bedspread. She refused to sleep in her room for two nights after this. I think the video may be representative of an intense spider phobia. We will get right on the treament for that.

I have to admit, I'm glad that video wasn't bigger! I got a little sea sick watching it! ;)
I love when kids really enjoy a gift, and it looks like Matthew's having a great time!
Oh my goodness. This video made me laugh sooo hard. I had to replay it at least 5 times. I can identify with the screamer... Emily? When Jay let a spider "get away" on the couch, I could not sit on it for two weeks, just in case.
I agree with Alisa. It makes me happy when the gift is really wanted - touched, turned on, used, (misused!) and enjoyed! Spiders are not my favorite. Loved the effect the screaming had on the video!
