So it's Halloween once again. The kids are excited and got up early to get ready to go to school in their costumes. Brynna is a black cat (which she was last year and wanted to be again...she really doesn't like change all that much), Emily is a bat, Matthew is a mad scientist (with a light up brain and light up heart--very cool), Aubrey is a vampire (in keeping with her love of the book Twilight). She wanted red contacts, but we decided 90 dollars for a pair of red eyes was a little out of our budget. She was extra-ordinarily dissappointed. We told her to just pretend she was "thirsty". I went to the Barratt parade which says it starts at 9:30 but always starts at about 10:30 and then all the kids just run through so you can't get a picture of anything. I still have blurry pictures of Melissa's halloween parades..now I can add blurry pictures of Brynna...full circle of blurry pictures. Oh I added matthew's pumpkin...he saw an internet picture of a pumpkin throwing up and thought it was the most brilliant idea ever...so here is his version. Hope everyone out there had a great halloween. Can't wait to see pictures.

I loved all of your kids' costumes but I have to tell you Matthew's was my absolute favorite of the entire day. Where did you get that bag of blood and those vials - for future reference?
I like that Emily is sort of a "sassy" bat. Also did Matthew eat the bag of blood afterwards? If he did I am glad I wasn't there to see it.
He did eat the blood. He wouldn't answer how it tasted. All I know is that he didn't eat it all!
